Beginning in February 2019, Melissa and the Golden Bridge team will be offering a monthly webinar for six consecutive months (February – Summer 2019). The teachings of each session will be guided and informed by the contents of each cycle described within Youth On Fire: Birthing a Generation of Embodied Leaders. Melissa will be offering this material in a way that is engaging, offering experiential opportunities throughout. Questions will be fielded at the end of each webinar.

This course will be an essential part of the SomaSource training path. It will also offer a new opportunity to hear Melissa break down the transformative work of Golden Bridge, giving you in-depth perspective into the art and magic of this life-changing work. It offers a cognitive understanding of the work we have been doing together for decades.

If you wish to be included in this learning journey, please make a commitment to the entire series. This online learning opportunity will require reading the relevant chapter of Youth On Fire in preparation for each webinar.

The SomaSource Online Foundation Course schedule is as follows:

• February 13th ~ Ground of Being: Embodiment
• March 13th ~ Heart of Truth: Social and Emotional Literacy
• April 10th ~ Liberation of Creativity: Family of origin work/Creative practices
• May 8th ~ Breath of Intimacy: Fertility, Intimacy, and Sexuality conversation
• June 12th ~ Birth of Soul: Emergence. Self as leader and lover of life
• July 19th (in person) or August 14th (online) ~ Destiny in Action: Community as mirror and teacher (This session will be held on July 19th in Boulder for those in town for the Summer Institute. For those out of town, there will be a session online on August 14th. The 2019 Summer Institute will naturally include a focus on this cycle.)

(2nd Wednesdays of each month)

Course Outline

Below is the schedule of classes, along with the required reading. Before each class, please read the relevant chapter and submit any questions that you would like to discuss in the session. There will also be reflection assignments along the way.

The SomaSource Summer Institute in Boulder, CO will continue to address the many key topics found within the final chapter of Youth On Fire: From the One to the Many. This half-day class on July 19th is for those who are in Boulder with us during the Summer of 2019. The final class for those of you not in Boulder this summer will be on August 14th.

Course Details:

11am – 12:15pm – Teaching (Experiential components will be included intermittently)
12:15 -12:45pm – Q and A
12:45 -1:00pm – Reflection Assignments

Questions will be fielded at the end of each class and priority will be given to questions submitted in advance. Questions can be sent to Sarita at kindlingforthefire@gmail.com.

Courses will take place via Zoom. Links will be sent out to registered students in advance of the class. Sessions will be recorded and emailed if you are unable to participate live.

Financial Commitment:

$150 for the full series ~ $25/per class
Payment option 1: Pay in full by February 1st
Payment option 2: Two payments ~ $75 by February 1st/ $75 by April 1st
